1-2 Desolate Sands [MIX]

S-1 Room:
It was hot. Arid. Desolate. The sun unforgiving and relentless as the winds whipped sand through the air, stinging ones eyes with the small needle like grains that spun madly with the dance of the wind. What wasn't dancing, stood silently, creating the illusion of endless land, sand burning the skin and leaving nothing to survive without challenge. The only thing standing out in the sight of large piles of sand was a large pillar, Clawing the sky as if wanting to rip a hole about 40-50 feet from the ground, in between 3 similarly sized sand dunes. The base of the pillar surrounded by a very small mote, the pillar itself having a small entrance of which seemed to lead into a cave. One could hear scuffling and small noises coming from the entrance, leaving one to wonder what sick creatures may claim shelter there.

*Hannah stepped through the portal, quickly shielding her eyes from the sun as she emerged from the portal*

Jenna: *Steps into the sandy world, and covers her eyes* Ew... Jeeze, is this a desert? *She lowers her hand, her eyes adjusting to the light* ...that's a yes.

Kimiko blinked a bit and winced as sand got in her eyes, she quickly sheilded her eyes and looked around, seeingt he little entrance and she walked towards it

*Cats always land on their feet, so it makes sense that Tisa would*

Oh dear, this is heat terrible... Maybe we should have brought water or something... or maybe sun hoods?

It could be worse. We could be stuck in a volcano or something like that.

Well, I suppose we could gather sand to smelt into glass from here... But what else could we get from a desert?

it seems that no one noticed that Kimiko was already half way to the pillar's entrance while they were talking

*looks around and notices her paw prints in the sand, leading to the structure in the distance*

This place kinda reminds me of those ruins I saw while visiting Orias last year. Desert and all that. *he takes a look at the walls, wondering whats written on them as well*

she keeps walking along, looking for something more interesting then a few symbols on a wall
