Did you know....
...that in Paws of Reverie, enemies were able to hit you before you attacked because there was no targeting system? In fact, you fought only one enemy at a time, and were able to choose which enemy you fought specifically. Of course, the draw back of this was that you could choose the easiest enemies. Also, you didn't get any other rewards from enemies except for stat bonuses. We've come a long way, haven't we?
Oh, and about Isolte Charlevet....
....Her design and concept was actually inspired by a character from Areforia V who used her weapons in a similar manner and was also an aristocrat. This character, however, never was completed, so the design and concept was moved over to this game. The character that Isolte's design derived from was Avarice Arlington, who teams up with the main protagonist of the game. She also used an umbrella-rapier as her weapon of choice.
