1-3 Silence of the Mind

when one steps out onto this landscape, they notice the darkness of it, the ground is black, the rocks are dark grey, the sky is non seeable due to that black and gray ceiling above. what grew on the ground was an interesting contrast, shiny red, green and blue plants throughout the landscape. about 40 meters ahead was a pool of true black liquid, that no light can penetrate. to the west was a large hill with a temple like entrance on the side of it, but it was locked at this time.
though creepiest of all was the fact that not a word spoken could be heard, but every thought at the forfront of ones mind was broadcasted to everyone around..... do you dare to trek this landscape?

S1 area

she walks out of the portal and thinks "huh, how interesting"

*Hannah popped through the portal, landing a bit awkwardly in the darkness before regaining her balance... There was something off...*
Why cant I speak..? Wait... What?!

Kimiko blinks and looks over "something wrong?"

*She looks around, still kinda confused as she tries to speak, but her thoughts are the only things she hears*
Its just a bit weird... That I can hear my thoughts but not my voice... Confusing I suppose.

she nods, "I guess it would be but atleast you can hear me for once~" he voice was rather silky, but derict

*Hannah smiles and nods, looking around a bit more*
I suppose. Welp, at least communication shouldn't be much an issue this time around. And this place is so dark. Its nice

she smiles and nods "it's quite beautiful~ I like it~" she started walking foward and at the herbs on the ground "hmmmm, maybe we can use the herbs for something, should we gather them?"

*Hannah looks at the herbs*
I'm sure we could if anything. Might as well, since we never know.
*Begins collecting some of the greener looking herbs*

*Hannah places the herbs in her pocket and looks around abit more*
Well then... its nice that none of the monsters attacked us that time.

she nods "yea, the monsters around here have been getting annoying~" she said looking at the oil pool

*She continues looking around, the darkness becoming normal to her eyes*
Yeah, lets hope they dont pop up anytime soon

she picks up a paws worth of oil and blinks at it "I dont think it's safe to swim in this.... oh well" silent sigh

*Hannah looked at the oil and nodded in agreement*
I dont think so either... We could always bring it back later though. It could come in some use.

she nods "should we gather some of it then? or should we switch our last gathers so we can have an even amount of gathered herbs for potions later?"

*She thinks about it for a moment and looks over to the herbs*
I think we should get the Hebs. Gathering oil with our paws seems rather inefficient.
*Starts gathering some of the red herbs*

she nods "true, but I have a bucket on hand, so maybe I'll gather some on my way out" she said gathering some green herbs

*Hannah looks around again, trying to see if there are monsters near*
You know... It's a bit boring having doing this without much a challenge...

she nods "yea, and I was coming here for a good fight or 2~" she yawned "I was willing to solo it too" she pouts a bit

*Hannah chuckles and sits by the pool of oil*
Yeah. It would make things more interesting that way.

she nods "alot more interesting" she said sitting next to her

*Flops onto her stomach and sticks her hand into the oil, watching it drip off*
It would be nice if this was water. I could go for a swim.

she nods and takes out a bucket and gathers some oil "yea, but oh well"

*She steps through the portal, wondering if this is where the 2 girls headed off to and was surprised to see the landscape as it was...What kind of place is this? It's kind of nightmarish, she thought to herself. She attempts to call out the others, hoping they would respond*

*Nothing comes out of her mouth. For a moment, she panics*

What the hell is going on here?

Kimiko blinks hearing something "is that.... Jada-rice?" she gets up and starts heading back seeing her "oh, glad you could join us Jay~"

Kimiko? You can hear my thoughts? Are you using telepathy or something? So that's what your voice sounds like...

*She catches up with them so she doesn't fall behind*

she blinks a few times and answers in order "yes, I dont know, and yes, do you like it?" she smiles, wishing her voice could be heard naturally

she glooms a bit "but-but, I was thinking happy thoughts... and the multi colored glowy plants are beautiful" she looks back out at her dark landscape "but there's black rocks (coal/carbon) on the sides of the road, multi color glowy herbs, a pool of black liquid and some black ravens in the sky~~"

*She tries not to make any remarks in her mind about Kimiko's odd definition of beautiful*

Anyways, we should probably get some materials before we head back.*She starts gathering some of the plants nearby, trying to get as much as she can hold*

*Hannah gets up from the ground, having fallen asleep and looks at Jay*
Oh look. Another person... I don't think I've met you yet.

she blinks a few times "you havent met Jay yet Hannah? where the hell have you been? she's been like everywhere" she seems rather shocked about this

Yeah, that's kind of a surprise, considering I've met most of you in that white space... But yeah, call me Jay, that works best.
