2-7 Greed's Snare

Stepping in, all you see is an endless sea of slot machines, card tables, and roulette spinners. The place much run down now, the only lighting comes from a large fountain in the middle of the casino, which appears to have cards flowing through it, rather than water. All of the cards laid out on the tables and in the fountain are black jokers, left with distorted faces. One side smiling, the other side displaying a hung joker with blood puddled below, coins stacked at his sides. The slot machines constantly spin, stopping every so often while saying "Winner!" and only displaying gold coins with a drop of blood on them. The card tables seem to have knives pinning down a few of the cards, the hung joker showing.

Hannah steps through the portal, looking around at the rather morbid setting and chuckles.

Like out of a horror story... Wonderful~

Melody walks through and looks around, shivering a bit out of fear of the setting.

This place is creepy... Why did you make it like this?

Kimiko follows her out and blinks, looking at everything curiously

Hannah walks around a bit, picking up one of the cards from the fountain and flicking it toward Isolte.

Nothing much. Just something I had thought of back before I died. I was into morbid things like this.

Melody shivers a bit more after seeing one of the cards pinned to the table.

Kimiko seems unbothered by the creepyness of hte place as she contimues onward into the building and wonders what to gather first

Jerrid stepped out of the portal, Tripping as soon as he hit solid ground. He got up, glaring at Jay. "That doesn't leave this room." He took a moment to scan over the room, noting the decorations. <Fate smiles upon me today. Twisted Fate that is.> Grinning softly at the thought, Jerrid asked "So what can we get here besides debt and disappointment?"

I don't even think it's possible to get debt in a place like this, but there's plenty of fabric and shit like that. You can focus on just getting the regular fabrics, pull them off the walls and tables. I'm gonna hit up some of that polyester.

*She heads off to look for some of the polyester, checking the poker tables*

<Didn't know she liked fabrics that much.> Jerrid grinned, turning to head the other way. He came across a table that had a decent sized strip of cloth on it, and so, Jerrid grabbed a corner and yanked it off.

Omoika says that's like the experience we get from killing monsters. When we have enough, we can use it to reinvent some of the techniques we had from the past or come up with new ones.

And for the most part, yeah. You have a chance to attract monsters in the area when you gather. Of course, if it doesn't happen sooner, it happens eventually too.
I don't question this stuff, I'd rather kick ass and grab my loot than sit around and wonder why picking up a couple stones wears people out so fast in this dimension.
