The soulbound arena is an arena where you can face various challenges in hopes of earning BP and prizes!

About the Rivalry Ring

The rivalry ring is large arena with audience stands inside an atrium-like room. The top of the walls on the arena for both the stands and the inner ring are lit with white torches. The floor below is wide and open. The walls are made of some kind of dark brick and the floor seems to be a soft but moderately firm sand. There's a it of magic in the air that gets you preppy and in a bit of a competitive mood. A music player seems to be somewhere in the room, as you can hear a faint battle-like theme done on a guitar.
A magic barrier goes up whenever a battle is started, in order to prevent people from falling in during a fight. Before a battle, however, this barrier is inactive, and anyone willing to join only has to jump into the ring.
Anyone defeated seems to respawn back into the stands, right in front of the elevator on the north wall.

The Rivalry Ring is a PvP area for people to duel or do team battles. This is a good way to see how you fare against others. Winning earns you Battle Points and occasionally stat boosts. Stat boosts given are up to the game master, but you will receive a fixed amount of Battle Points for winning. Battle points can be redeemed for special prizes such as stat-ups and materials.

Joining the Fight

Fighting requires that you pay 5 IMG Points, that way, you can't spam fighting just for the BP.
Battles in the Rivalry ring incur a rebalance to your stats. Your HP will be multiplied to 10x and your speed will not grant you an additional move should you double up on an opponent. That is one of the main differences in PvP. All effects still apply and every other system works the same with a few added twists.

Power Up Box:
To give PvP a bit more balance and flair, You can collect a Power Up Box at any time while doing your move. You can only do this once every 3 rounds. To do this, roll the Power Up die. Each number on the die has a different effect. Beware! Not all power up effects are positive! The effects are listed below:

1. Attack doubled for 2 turns
2. Magic doubled for 2 turns
3. Recover 20% HP
4. Your Party takes 10% Damage
5. Opponent party loses 10% HP
6. +20 Defense for 2 turns
7. -20 Defense for 2 turns
8. You are stunned next turn


Finish Your Enemy!

Unlike in a normal battle, if you drop your opponents HP to 0 you have to roll a finish to defeat you enemy. To do this, roll the Status Effect Lv1 die TWICE
. If the first number is higher than the second, you win. If it is NOT, your opponent gets another turn to turn things around. Hope for the best!

Fighting in a Party of Free For All

You can fight in a party against another party with the same amount of people OR you can do a free for all battle. Be sure to indicate WHO you are attacking! In both modes, include the amount of people you defeated in since it will earn you extra BP.

In a team match, the team left standing gets the win. In free for all, the last person standing gets the win.

Earning BP

Here are the BP values earned from winning:

5 BP for beating someone in a duel

10 BP + 1 more for each person you went against in Free For All

8 BP For everyone on the winning team in team match.

You will gain additional BP in in Free For All and Team Match depending on your score.
